Where your entries live
Everything you toss into Parklet — text, links, photos, files — is stored on your device and synced through your own iCloud account. It is not stored on servers run by The Indie App. AI tag suggestions run on your device.
When you share
To share, you sign in with Apple, so the people you share with can find you. Our server keeps your account (your name or nickname and your devices' public keys) and passes shared entries along, end-to-end encrypted: it stores them but cannot read them, and only the people you pick can. Sharing moves to iCloud in version 1.0, and this page will be updated then.
Voice transcripts
To turn a voice entry into text, the app sends the recording through our server to Google's Gemini service, which writes the transcript. Our server keeps no audio; it counts the minutes you use so it can apply your monthly limit.
Feedback you send
If you use Send Feedback in the app, we receive what you write and any screenshot you attach. We keep feedback for up to 12 months, then delete it.
Purchases
Power-ups are bought through Apple; Apple handles payment and we never see your card. For Plus, our server stores which features you picked and, for voice transcription, how many minutes you have used this month, so it can apply your limits.
